Power Platform Developer

As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing modern business applications using Microsoft’s Power Platform and Azure AI services. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts and end-users to turn complex requirements into intuitive, efficient, and intelligent solutions that make an impact.

In this role, you report to the Senior IT Manager and become part of a forward-thinking IT team that is driving digital transformation across the organization.

Your Role

As a Power Platform Developer, you will:

• Partner with business analysts and process owners to gather and refine user requirements;

• Design and build modern, user-friendly applications using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse and Fabric;

• Automate workflows and integrate systems with Power Automate to streamline business processes;

• Develop custom connectors, API integrations, and Python-based automation scripts to extend platform capabilities;

• Integrate advanced AI features using Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure AI Search to create intelligent, data-driven solutions;

• Optimize performance, data structures, and security within Power Platform solutions;

• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure reliability and scalability;

• Empower business users by providing training and documentation for self-service capabilities;

• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with new features in Power Platform, Azure, and AI technologies;

• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.

You bring a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving ability.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience);

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages);

• Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and API integrations;

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI services such as Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure AI Search;

• Experience integrating data from SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and REST APIs;

• Understanding of data modelling, automation design, and application lifecycle management (ALM);

• Knowledge of Power Query (M), Power Fx, or JavaScript for extending app functionality;

• A mindset focused on scalability, maintainability, and security;

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving;

• Affinity with Supply Chain, Logistics, or Trade processes is a plus.
