The Role
Are you ready to play a key role in the commercial growth of a dynamic and fast-moving organization? As a Junior Business Developer at UFBG, you will support the success of our customer partnerships by managing key commercial activities and contributing to strong internal coordination across departments.
This role combines strategic and operational responsibilities. You will assist senior account managers in maintaining and growing customer relationships, while also playing a hands-on role in supporting sales processes, procurement coordination, and administrative tasks related to client service. You will act as a connector between commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure accurate execution and a seamless customer experience.

What Will You Do?
Business Development
Source and actively approach new clients
Negotiate with customers the prices, marketing (promotions, activations), payments and delivery conditions
Generating new sales opportunities with existing clients and upselling additional products
Proactively follow market and product developments and identify opportunities and trends
Monitoring customer trends: client- and product portfolio
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, and providing basic support • Maintain and expand the relationship with clients
Building recurring business with clients
Address minor client issues and concerns promptly, escalating more complex issues to senior team members
Periodic visits to customers
Responsibility for customers’ payments
Daily control of cash consumption

Job requirements
What Do You Bring?
Bachelor education
Sales experience, ideally in an FMCG environment
Demonstrated outstanding sales vision
Proficiency in sales channels and market developments
Understanding of supply chain principles
Knowledge of cash usage including payments, creditors, and stock levels
Familiarity with debtors and creditors processes
Fluent in English, Dutch or French written and verbal
