The Role: Demand & Supply Planner

As our new Demand & Supply Planner, your primary mission is to align incoming purchases and sales while balancing service levels and costs throughout the supply chain.

You will act as the crucial linking pin between Purchasing, Sales, and Operations. Because supply planning is a relatively new discipline within West Coast Supply Group, this role calls for an entrepreneurial professional with a hands-on mentality who is eager to build from scratch: setting up new processes, determining the right tools, and establishing procedures that support the growth of the division.

You will join a young, ambitious, and international team within a dynamic department consisting of Sales, Purchase, and Operations. Working closely with the Purchasing and Sales Managers, the Operations Lead, and the VAS Manager, you will report directly to and regularly spar with the Operations Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Planning: Set up robust forecasting methods and align them with the planning tools in our ERP system.

• Capacity & Warehouse Management: Coordinate the optimal use of internal and external warehouses for overall stock management, forecasting capacity across a 1/3/6-month outlook on inbound, outbound, and storage.

• Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Manage cross-functional stakeholders and report forecasts, numbers, and data in easy-to-digest analyses.

• Tooling & Process Optimization: Find and adopt the right tools (software/ERP) to support the planning process, identifying process improvements and implementing them on a project basis.

What You Bring to the Table

• Location: Based in or living in the Netherlands.

• Education: HBO/WO (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 2–4 years of work experience in Demand & Supply Planning within an internationally oriented organization. FMCG experience is a distinct plus.

• Systems & Tools: Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with knowledge of reporting tools (preferably QlikView) and ERP systems (Navision is a plus).

• Languages: Fluent in English (written and verbal).

• Mindset: Entrepreneurial, independent, and proactive. You keep an overview of the bigger picture, identify emerging opportunities, and possess the analytical skills and diplomacy needed to bring people along in change.
